The hotel staff were very accommodating and responsive through email. the hotel is conveniently located near the train station and a popular tourist spot. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the comfortable beds.
The lighting fixtures and electrical sockets were oddly placed, and some of the amenities were not as expected.

We loved this hotel! The common area was perfect for long stays with laundry facilities, kitchen, and fridge. Transportation was convenient enough, with the metro just a short 4-minute walk away. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. The location was in an odd place, close to the Kamo river, but it provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we appreciated.
Nothing, all was good!

If you're searching for a budget-friendly place to stay in Japan, there are some great options out there. One hotel in particular is perfect for low-budget travellers who are looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in a convenient location.
Like many budget hotels, some minor details might need improvement, such as hangers/hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes.

Our stay during the new year celebrations was great! The common area was perfect for long stays, with laundry, kitchen, and fridge facilities for guests. Plus, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro station and tourist destinations. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and the fact that the hotel offered excellent value for the quality provided.
The bathroom was quite small with no air circulation, but we managed. , we noticed that the hotel had a strict policy regarding changing the sheets and cleaning the room.
